I think it just depends on your content, your goals, and your use of the platform. When it comes down to it, blogging <em>is</em> social media, and is exactly where Twitter began. (Blogspot and Twitter were both developed by the same fellow as a matter of fact.) I could give you a list of big names who are making crazy money from social media - it just boils down to what you're into, and how effective your campaign is. lol, the vid is pretty funny, even though I disagree about the value of social media. I think it just depends on your content, your goals, and your use of the platform. When it comes down to it, blogging is social media, and is exactly where Twitter began.
