As I sit here this morning, cold sleet is pelting my skylights this very moment. A major winter storm is being forecast for this weekend on the east coast. My heat is on and it’s so cold that my natural gas has automatically kicked in to handle what my heat pump cannot. My toes are quite cold right now. I skyped with my buddy Josh Whitford from Marketing Ideas yesterday and he told me it was around 20 degrees in North Dakota.
I wonder what my share will cost me towards the global warming fund that world leaders want to set up? How many less times will my family not be able to shop for necessities in the coming years so I can make my contribution? I feel pretty bad for those poor Polar Bears who don’t have enough ice to float on. Hopefully the eskimos are fornicating enough to produce a steady food supply. What I couldn’t help but notice was that all of the global warming protesters over in Copenhagen were all dressed in heavy cold weather clothing and hats. I bet that wearing a winter parka during a global warming protest would hinder your ability to throw a brick through the storefront window of a small business owner in Denmark.

It’s cold today so there is no global warming, that’s what passes for critical thinking in your world?

Chris, seems that the opposite is also true, its warm so the earth must be getting warmer…

I think the title of the post refers to the blogger, who doesn’t understand the difference between global climate and the weather outside his cave. This is the kind of ignorance that is running the conversation in the US. People who have no problem demonstrating how ignorant they are of what is really happening – extremes at both ends. “Idiot” is right.

That’s right…I hate all you stupid liberals in all countries. Liberals are the most stupid form of animal on the planet. My dog is smarter than a liberal. Unfortunately this world is populated mostly by people who want things for free and want to take things from those who have it. We had a nice country going here for 200+ years but it looks like all good things have to come to an end.

Hi there, first comment – long time reader… dont believe in global warming… Polar bear population is increasing, and ive recently learned that the ice cap is getting bigger and bigger aswell(not smaller like weve been lied to). A good blog i get my news from is “conservative for change” – you can google it up…
As for myself, I ride a bike regularly even on the cold canadian winters, not too far south from griz – but that’s got more to do that im broke and not that im an ecologist. Have a cold one Steve and Al – thanks for the great free posts and wish you happy holidays

@Chris, @Jane, Sticks and stones will break my bones…Haha, I don’t give a $hit what you call me. I’m guessing you are probably youngsters and what us older folk call what is happening is “seasons”. That’s right, there are generally considered to be 4 seasons each year. Follow the money trail my young friends. Your government and all of the other crooked regimes around the world are simply “shaking down” the world’s population under the guise of GW. Sort of like Jesse Jackson shaking down companies over affirmative action. Good ol’ Jesse shook down my former company and ceased when “Verizon” made a sizeable donation to the Rainbow Coalition. I would ask you both to consider both sides.
@Josh, your first comment was so quick to the point it was “game over”.
@Allyn, You actually gave Pelosi a compliment. I wouldn’t have been that nice. Are you mellowing out? I agree, man cannot destroy what GOD made.
@I hate Liberals, Hey we had a good run for 200+ years didn’t we? You are so right. Go to your town square with a sign that says, Free Bags Of Dog Poo Tomorrow” and there will be a huge line waiting for their freebie.
@Marketer Bob, don’t be a stranger here. Thanks for adding to the conversation. A cold one to you Bob, my treat.

I’ve never meet a politician that didn’t like the sound of money. Usually one politician will have a good will charity project that they’ll work on, but when a whole gaggle of politicians get hot and bothered about any issue usually means there is a lot of money involved. I doubt any politician gives a rat @$$ about anything environmental for the most part given it rarely punishing big oil for all of their disasters if they do its nominal at best. Washington is a revolving door of back slappers and money.
