LOL, not coming out of my nice cave yet. :)
I do find it funny though how the "social media gurus" don't know how to treat customers. Lis was their customer, and if she had an issue (she complained), all they needed to do was provide better customer service.
You see, that is the issue... these social media guys NEVER HAD REAL JOBS in REAL COMPANIES where they actually earned any type of leadership position.
Most of them "worked" for companies, but never pulled themselves up through the ranks by their own boot straps and excelled. (yet they now like to be consultants for these same companies ROFL)
If they had achieved anything in corporations, they wouldn't be so flippant with their customer relationships now.
Customers are EVERYTHING! and a complaining customer is an OPPORTUNITY to show shining social skills, not a reason to dump the customer. Going out of your way to sway a customer's feelings towards your company or brand creates immense LOYALTY!!!
Can you imagine if we treated our marriages with such angst?
think about it!

Oh Steve Kumbaya was starting to grow on me - seemed a bit unfriendly really and little - how can I say this - "un third tribish?"

I have to disagree Lis. I read your site regularly and I see how you interact with all of your commenters. You are one of the best IMHO.

Who needs the Turd Tribe anyway??
