If you do, you may wonder what type of video encoding settings to use.
YouTube actually gives you a benchmark for encoding all your videos to get the best quality of playback for your viewers.
Personally, all my video uploads are in HD.
I either upload in 1280 x 720 or 1920 x 1080.
When I finish editing a video, I prepare it and compress it for uploading to YouTube.
I generally choose the size I want and also the kilobytes per second, kbps.
For almost all of my videos, I compress to 8000 kbps. I want high quality uploads.
